RBs : Berry & Hyde
D-line : Newsome & Muldoon (I say we miss out on Adams)
O-line : Hall & Watt
DBs : Vlad, Brown, McDougald
WR : Carter
The last one??? An ATH, I say either Green or McGee.
I say no more than 25 - we fans always tend to over-estimate the number of signees in any given class.crazybuckfan40;1179975; said:At this point it is hard to put a finger on the last couple spots...I am at the 27 # with you tho...
Very possible ... but the June 20th date might be a bit optimistic. That being said, it's tough for any school to go five-for-five with that kind of talent ... but I have to admit that the Buckeyes appear to be the strong leader for each of those five kids.crazybuckfan40;1179975; said:Berry, Hyde, Vlad, Brown, and Carter could all be done by the time the camp on the 20th is over...
Probable.crazybuckfan40;1179975; said:That leaves us with 6 left...2 Glenville guys are done...
I doubt that any local kid gets the fourth slot ... JMHO. If Watt goes elsewhere, then I'd say it's another three-OL class (four, if you count Justin Boren; five, if you count Reid Fragel).crazybuckfan40;1179975; said:And we will take one more o-lineman...Could be Watt, could be a local kid if Watt says no...
I don't ... again, JMHO.crazybuckfan40;1179975; said:That leaves us with 3 left...I truly believe that McGee will join the class, but not till late...
I say Tyron Ezell ... and the Bucks have a real shot. Kids who are allegedly life-long Buckeye fans (like Muldoon) generally don't wait so long to commit (Muldoon has had an Ohio State offer since early April). It could be that Muldoon is just doing his due diligence ... but the staff is doing theirs as well ... and there appear to be plenty of talented DL in the class of 2010.crazybuckfan40;1179975; said:That leaves us with 2...Gotta figure one of them will be a d-lineman...Probably Muldoon...
I'd save a slot (or oversign) for Watt (high interest, along with ND, Michigan, and Illinois, of course), Adams (high interest, along with USC), Boyd (OSU should be a finalist), or Debose (longshot, at best).crazybuckfan40;1179975; said:Then you got 1 left...A group of Adams, McDougald, Green, Ezell, or a 4th WR like Boyd, Debose, etc or a 2nd TE Sims or Hageman...

McDougald said he wants to take visits though and Brown seems closer to making a decision. Hard to say which one will decide first but I went with McDougald since he's from Dublin.
this is one of the reasons i question mcdougald and the offer. does it have some sort of limit on it? i dont want to say the staff is strining him along but a kid growing up in columbus in the shadow of the shoe knows recruiting, hes knows osu. mangino was in on him early but i just dont see how a kid from that program doesnt pull the trigger pretty much as soon as he gets it. from two people i know hes a huge buckeye fan.
hes a pretty good bball guard also. nice combo player who has lock down defensive ability in the hs game
