Yeah, I'm not scared of this team having to play the Heat or the Bullets. Right now the Knicks are 2 games out of the #7 seed.

Don't worry the Cavs are only one game away from the 5 seed. The Hughes to PG move started well, but is falling apart. Hughes hasn't played in the 4th quarter two games in a row because Brown can't rely on him not to shoot if he is having an off night (normal for him). At least with Snow in the game he doesn't shoot it unless he absolutely has to or if he's going to the rim. I would like to see what Gibson would do at PG with Pavlovic at the other guard. It doesn't really matter who the Cavs play in the playoffs. If they don't heat back up they will loose in the first round.

Maybe it's just the frustration with losing to the FUCKING KNICKS AGAIN, but I'm pretty much ready to write him off as an unmitigated failure at this point. For the amount of money he's getting, you should at least be able to count on him to be a reliable #2 scorer most of the time, and he's been far from that. He can't shoot for shit outside of the rare hot streak, and to make matters worse his shot selection literally makes me want to kick my screen in on the rare occasion I get to watch the Cavs. Seriously, how many times do we have to look at the stat sheet and see 3-10, 5-15, 6-17, 5-14 from his ass? Not but a week and a half ago we looked like we were ready to take the next step...
We were seeing less and less of Snow and Larry was relishing in the PG role...
Most figured when Boobie came back we wouldnt have to see Snow at all and we would really take off as Boobie is another outside threat...
You guys can complain about Larry all you want, but this one is on the shoulders of Mike Brown IMO...You can't go from O Larry is playing so great at the point, to all of a sudden he should not play anymore...
The problem is Brown's love fest for Eric Snow, so he played a decent game the other day, he is a liability on the court, b/c he is unable to hit a open freaking jumper, he slows the game down b/c he can't get up and down the court with guys like Bron, Sasha, Larry, etc. and we have officially went back to Brown Ball if that is what you want to call it...
I do believe it was when we put that shit aside and started Boobie and then Hughes that we took off...Now we have Snow playing the whole fourth quarter instead of Hughes...No wonder he was so pissed off...

Our next game is huge...
We only have a 1/2 game on the Bulls right now and we lose they take the 2 spot for the time being...

hughes, despite your non-stop defense of him is also a liability. He can't hit an open jumper either. hughes can get up and down the court, but he can't finish for shit either, so it doesn't make a difference. where snow is better is that he isn't a big enough jackass to take 17 shots a game, knowing he'll be lucky to make 6 of them.

Larry has his bad games and his good games, but now I am sure he is pissed off due to Mike the idiot Brown putting him on the bench for none other than Eric the brick Snow, after it was the move of him to pg that let us take off into playing our best basketball all season...

All of a sudden you see 2 guys on LBJ and no one guarding snow...Of course LBJ throws to Snow who can't shoot waste 10 seconds on the shot clock and then it ends up in someones hands for a 20 ft. jumper, which is probably missed...
If you can honestly tell me that the move of Hughes to point had nothing to do with our 8 game winning streak I will give you a big pat on the back...
ESnow comes on the floor and things go in the tubes...

Hughes would be better if he played like Snow. Eric never shoots unless he absolutely has to, while Hughes continues to jack up shots like he is the next coming of Mark Price. Most of the shots Snow takes are on drives to the hoop. When Hughes is on the team clicks because you have to cover everyone, but when his shot is off everything gums up.
I just ran some numbers and over the past 5 games Hughes is 22-59 (37%). Snow only shot in the past 3 and his numbers for that period are 11-19 (58%). That is why Snow is getting to play at the end of the game now instead of Hughes. Brown has probably seen the same thing that I seen in every game, which is that Hughes misses most of his shots in the second half. If he is hot in a game it is mostly in the first half. So if he starts off cold there is no reason to keep playing him because all he will do is to continue to jack up and miss shots. A note, Obviously Snow isn't working out very well either since the Cavs aren't really pulling out these games so perhaps Gibson or Brown should get a shot.
Another reason the Cavs aren't playing well right now is because Lebron's shot is off much like it was earlier in the season. Lebron is 42-101 (41.6%) over the past 5 and IIRC most of those points have come on drives. When he can't shoot, and Hughes can't shoot teams can play off of everyone and force them to do what they do worst, shoot. Over the past 5 Pavlovic has been the only player (not counting PF/C) that is hot at 24-43 (55.8%). Looking at the NY game he was 6-7 for threes so I have no idea why Marshall (can't hit the side of a barn) took the last shot.
Guys like Gibson and Brown are the ones that need to be getting more minutes. Those are the guys that are going to take the Cavs to the next level rather than Hughes, Snow, and Newble.

Did he not see what happen first when he benched Snow and went to Boobie, and then after Boobie went down he inserted Hughes into the starting PG...Snow should not be sniffing 30 minutes let alone getting that in a game...
I just don't understand Brown and the way he uses his guys...Does he not see what Boobie and Brown have brought to the game when they have been in there...Hell he sat Sasha ever since he has been here and all of sudden somebody said hey stupid ass your second best player is sitting on the bench beside you every nite...
As for the Hughes hate, I understand that he doesnt have the best jumper, but when he is on it is almost a guarnanteed victory and when he is not, yeah we struggle some, but he is still a better running mate than anyone else we have and in terms of taking pressure off LBJ there is no one else that can do it like him...
I kept standing by Brown and giving him the benefit of the doubt, but he just isnt getting it IMO...All he can say in the papers after a couple losses is we need to get back to basics...Like they didnt know how to play when they were running thru the Pistons, Rockets, and Jazz on their win streak...Give me a break and get your head out of your ass and realize that you are not putting us in the right situations and getting out of your guys what you should be...
