Cavs 06-07 season thread

That was an ass whooping all around. Cavs led since 1:11 in the 1st qtr. Hopefully the Pistons will start losing on their west coast trip but they've been playing well so far. Really though, as long as the Cavs avoid the Heat in the 1st round I'm pretty confident in beating any other of those lower seeded teams in 5 games.

Yeah, I'm not worried about the Heat. Really, when the Cavs are playing decent, there isn't a team in the East that they can't beat in a seven game series. I think their toughest matchups would be the teams they faced last year, Washington and Detroit. Obviously though, neither of those would be a first round matchup this year.

I agree, I don't want to draw the Heat and would rather see them have to match up with a Detroit or Washington in the second round so all those teams could beat up on each other, but overall I really feel that if we play lik ewe are capable of we could beat anyone, just like LBJ said the other day...

CLEVELAND ? LeBron James didn?t want to add any insult to the injured Indiana Pacers.
James scored 26 points ? his lowest total in 11 games ? but the Cleveland Cavaliers won their fifth straight, 99-88 over Indiana last night, handing the Pacers their ninth straight loss. Larry Hughes had 23 points and Drew Gooden 19 for the Cavaliers, who let the Pacers trim a 23-point deficit in the fourth quarter to nine before putting them away.

Hughes is averaging 17 and 6 assists in the last 5 games. I'd be surprised if they moved him back to the 2 when Gibson is able to go again (last I heard maybe sat v Utah). IMO, you keep Hughes at 1, move Gibson to 2, and rely on Pavlovic to come off the bench when the king rests.

Exactally...I think Pavs has struggled a little in the starting role...Give him some solid minutes off the bench along with him and Brown...Give the backup pg minutes to Boobie and go from there...

The less Snow the better, hell they were doulbe teaming LBJ as he came across half court last nite and leaving Snow wide open, but it didnt matter b/c Snow can't make a 12 footer...:!

That would be nice, but I'm just glad they've finally shown a pulse after so many lackluster games.

I'd be suprised if Hughes is moved from the point. It's proven to be a good move(lucky for Brown).
