It would be nice if someone stepped up scoring tonight to help Lebron. Just one person could have gotten a win.

I liked the smaller line up though, though it doesn't have that scorer.

Gooden needed to be bigger tonight than he was. Him and Varejao should have been able to be more productive against Chicago's thin frontline. No excuse for this team's lack of scoring. They need to take better shots(no more 5 second possessions. No one on this team is good enough a shooter to warrant that) and attack the basket, especially against a team like Chicago.

They erased all that positive momentum they built up in the third quarter with that pathetic fourth(which wasn't as bad as the second, but that isn't saying much).

At this point Hughes is struggling some with his outside shot, but overall he played a pretty good game tonite...

Compare his stat line with LBJ's tonite and you are looking at identical lines, besides the fact that LBJ made a couple more shots than Hughes...

despite the fact that 13-28 is far better than 9-26, one is a typical performance from trash, the other is a bit of a shooting anomaly for the other.

hughes is doing more than just struggling with his outside shot. his ft% is abysmal. that really bodes well for someone that is supposed to be a slasher to the basket, and a slasher that can't finish to save himself at that.

the only good thing about last night's game is the following:

While Chicago is shooting ft's Doug Collins starts laughing and says
"I couldn't figure out why the crowd was booing, but now I see why. The people running the scoreboard wanted the crowd to boo, so they flashed the Michigan logo up on the scoreboard.

from what i have heard, he is unhappy with his role in Cleveland, and with the offense being run by Brown. makes me wonder how committed he is out there?

Just pointing out that while it wasnt a great game if he isnt on the floor last nite we don't have anyone else to score besides LBJ...

He had a couple shots roll all the way around the rim and come out. He had 8 rbs., yes he sucked from the line, but really who on this team doesnt...

I just think we are going to need him, so I am not writing him off...

I DVRed the game, but not even sure if I am going to watch it...

I can only guess how the game went and how uninspired we played, we should never lose to a Wadeless Heat team...

Also I never thought that I would say these next 3 words, but "we miss Sasha".

Don't bother. Once again I allow myself to become optimistic and believe that they've finally turned the corner, and once again they prove me wrong. I'm really starting to wonder how much longer it's gonna be until LeBron starts to catch some serious flack for his inability to take over games or even have the ability to will his team to a win over a mediocre team like the Wade-less Miami Heat. There's been some chatter to that affect here-and-there, but for the first time I'm beginning to sour on him. As for the Cavs, I'm done with them until playoff time, which I have a strong feeling is gonna be a pretty short stay this year. I've tried to stay the course this year, but I can only take so much frustration.

Fuck I hate being a Cleveland sports fan.

I hear ya, but that is what the NBA is about, ups and downs during the regular season, but all in getting ready for the playoffs...

Regular season titles mean squat, it is all about he playoffs, and I think that we will see a different LBJ much like last year come playoff time...I think it will do this team wonders the way that he has allowed guys like Sasha and Gibby to flourish around him...
