Cavs 06-07 season thread

Well I guess we will just agree to disagree...I am in no way making excuses...I think the number are ok, for what his role is on this team...There is more to basketball than the fg% and asst/to ratio...

when you are the starting PG, who is averaging 18 shots a game, fg% and assist to TO ratio are the two biggest factors, and he is failing miserably in both.

Additionally, Hughes is 30-90 in the NJ series. That is 33%. Check the box scores. Don't fluff his stats in your blind defense of his piss-poor play.

7-20, 4-14, 9-20, 7-19, 3-17 = 30-90.

So, you essentially have a starting PG that is averaging 6-18 from the field, and more turnovers than assists. How you continually defend that is a mystery.

As for the copout that you won't get 17ppg production from snow or gibson, first, gibson won't shoot 33% from the field, and neither one of snow or gibson is assinine enough to shoot 18 times a game.

Painful to watch the Cavs stand around a run the shot clock down and then throw up a prayer. The Coach sits back and lets the Nets made a huge run before he even thinks about a timeout. A smart coach woulda stopped this crap after about a 5 point run, he waits the crowd and the entir team, bench, parking lot attendants, ticket takers are all fired up , then wonders why they can't stop the run. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!:(
