Cam Newton (QB New England Patriots)

Just a question, not being a math whiz, but would a zero be considered a single digit? And totally off topic, sort of :tongue2:, but if they gave owners a wonderlic test, what would Mike Brown score :(

I think a lot of people owe Mr. Newton an apology. I've obtained a copy of his wonderlic, and he's pulled one of the best scores ever for a quarterback. Congrats to him for proving the haters wrong!

Not sure if this was posted on this thread or not.. Just saw this on BN.

http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/269531-radio-host-says-tapes-implicate-newton

The host of a Huntsville, Ala., sports talk radio show says he has heard audio tapes, allegedly in the possession of former Mississippi State players John Bond and Bill Bell, that implicate Cam Newton in his father, Cecil's, pay-for-play scheme that was investigated by the NCAA. Scott Moore, an Alabama fan and a college football speaker, said Friday during a radio interview with WNSP in Mobile, Ala., that he heard tapes of Cecil Newton selling his son's services while Cam was in the room. He states Tennessee offered Cecil Newton $200,000 for Cam Newton to play in Knoxville, and that Mississippi State was getting a discounted rate.

Unpossible.

That would mean that the 180K number wasn't just plucked from thin air (there was a market) and that SEC teams other than Auburn cheat a lot.

He's obviously just a delusional Alabama fan. No way all those hours of FBI wiretaps ever show anything more than the right reverend Newton asking for money one time, not getting it (because no one in the SEC actually pays recruits) and getting back on to the straight and narrow path one would expect of a clergy member.

Bond?s attorney: Alleged Newton recording ?a fake?

STARKVILLE ? The audio file sweeping the Internet that allegedly contains the voice of Cecil Newton is apparently a fake.

That?s the word from the attorney of John Bond, the former Mississippi State player who first alerted MSU officials of Cecil Newton?s pay-for-play scheme for his son Cam in December of 2009.

?The tape is not authentic,? Bond?s attorney told The Clarion-Ledger via e-mail. ?It is a fake.?
