I guess this question will never go away entirely until we win another National Championship soon, but how many of you out there would like to see Coach Tressel get a true bonafied Offensive Co-Ordinator for his staff.
It seems we all are satisfied with J/T as our headball coach but even myself that i am, feel that something has to happen quick. I am not taking anything away from Jon Petersen nor Jim Bollman at what they are achieving but the way college football is headed, i think Ohio State has to go down a new road if they are to remain in the hunt for national championships.
USC has found new sucess under Pete Carroll. Notre Dame is on the same road with Charlie Wiess. Iowa with Kirk Ferrance was... but has slipped abit. The point i make here is that all of the above have solid bonifide Pro football experience. To me ,it seems to be the trend of setting the pro style offenses in gear and also making it easier for pro scouts to select thier players when the time comes.
I really don't have a good selection at this time but one person always sticks out in my mind and that is Gary Danielson. He seems to know quite a good deal about Ohio State football and I like to listen when he gives his takes as an ABC colorman. So if you had a choice in selcting a good Offensive C0-ordinator, who would it be.
