If you want a playoff, then you want an undefeated Boise and TCU, and have 2 1-loss big conference teams in the NC, shutting out TCU and BSU.

THAT would put some serious wind in the playoff sails.

I don't understand WTF all the NCAA people, conf commishes, and university presidents are talking about...
They say it's bad for the student athletes, extends their time away from studies.

Um, EXCUSE ME, isn't I-AA, II, and III doing playoffs????? And HAVE BEEN for years???

Unless they are just flat-out calling I-AA, II, and II schools' students geniuses, while the I-A student-athletes are intellectually challeneged and can't handle maybe 2-3 more games....

I agree, if there are two teams of Oregon, LSU, MSU or Auburn, they'll get passed over, but I think all of those teams will still slip up somewhere...everybody thought 'bama was unstoppable two weeks ago and look what happened...

Unfortunately, I think the thing that slows this train best is for Boise State and TCU to play in the NC game and then for it to be a financial disaster for the network. That will be the last time we hear about this.
