Boise State in the NC game?

I find it amusing that these non-AQ teams love to whine about not getting their shot, but then when they have a chance to schedule a marquee game they don't take it. Herbie--are you paying attention?

if it were TCU who made the challenge and Wisconsin declined, ESPN would be throwing shit at Wisconsin all day, without a doubt

but it seems to be ok for these schools who whine to turn down offers....and keep whining

Utah never annoyed the shit out of me like Boysee has....

TCU honestly isn't that annoying either, but they are guilty by association somewhat....

I take back the 2nd part about TCU.

TCU is just as annoying as Boysee State. Fuck TCU. If they want to play the big boys like Ohio State, maybe they shouldn't be ducking out of games with Ohio Stat when they have already scheduled it.

The TCU backout Mike refers to - as journaled by Doug Lesmires

In late December of 2007, Ohio State said it had reached a deal to open the 2009 season at home against TCU. Army had recently backed out of a planned series, and the Horned Frogs, coming off an 8-5 season, were set for a one-game trip to Columbus. According to Ohio State, the game had been agreed to but the contract wasn't yet signed.
Then it never happened. A two-game series against Navy was later announced, and the Midshipmen opened this season with a 31-27 loss to the Buckeyes that went down to the final minutes.
