So what? The Big Ten, Pac 10 and Rose Bowl don't want a playoff. They're entitled to their opinion and their interests in the matter. That's what's so infuriating about clowns like Benson or that hack prez at Boysee: they--who bring NOTHING to the table--seem to feel that they can stamp their feet and demand EVERYTHING from us.

There was a point where I would have been moderately in favor of a 16 team playoff with home field advantage. Now? Fuck the mid-majors. Fuck them in their motherfucking arses, roughly and without the common decency of a reach-a-round. Let them run off and have their fucking playoff by themselves and see who gives one flying shiite about it. The only thing those godforsaken places are good for is running off and getting their f*ck!ng shineboxes!

Boise State clearly belonged in the NC game. They just beat Utah in the Maaco Bowl 26-3...almost as badly as Notre Dame beat the Utes. :lol:

As a parting fuck you to TCU, they changed the game with Truck Driver U from Forth Worth to the abortion blue. With Utah and BYU gone and Nevada losing Kaepernick and Tau, it looks as though Georgia is our only hope for avoiding another season of herbie and espn droning on about these miserable fucks.

So much for another mid-major boast that we are not scared to play folks they are scared to play us.....don't blame them too much Whisky probably would have made it a night game...:biggrin:

Is a Rose Bowl rematch brewing between Wisconsin and TCU for the 2011 season opener?
It's not going to happen, but both schools were contacted about the idea.
Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema said on a Madison, Wis., sports radio station Wednesday that he was approached about playing host to TCU on Sept. 3.
"I was contacted probably a week, maybe a week and a half after the bowl game about the opportunity to play TCU in our opener," Bielema said on the show. "It was something that was going to be broadcast and made a big deal. It took me all of about point-five seconds to say, 'Yes.' "
TCU defeated Wisconsin 21-19 in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day, vaulting the undefeated Horned Frogs to a No. 2 final ranking in The Associated Press and USA Today top 25 polls (they remained No. 3 in the final BCS standings).
"I would definitely love the challenge to play them again," Bielema said on the show. "And really, I thought it would be a great sell with our folks. Unfortunately, TCU wasn't as excited about the matchup."
TCU athletic director Chris Del Conte on Wednesday confirmed that a third party approached him about playing the Sept. 3 season opener at Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium. Del Conte also confirmed that he declined the offer.

Just found this at the end of the article...yes "of course" until it actually happens then the excuses will start.....yeah you would have been all ears and then have had your ass handed to you on the field....

Now, had Ohio State -- whose president, E. Gordon Gee, famously had chided non-BCS conference teams such as TCU for playing schedules littered with the "Little Sisters of the Poor" -- been the Big Ten team seeking a late schedule change, Del Conte said he would have been all ears.
"Oh yeah," he said, "of course."

I find it amusing that these non-AQ teams love to whine about not getting their shot, but then when they have a chance to schedule a marquee game they don't take it. Herbie--are you paying attention?

Speaking of Truck Driver U, has anyone heard any verbal diarrhea lately from good old Bob Kustra--the Cliff Clavin of American university presidents? He seems to be keeping quite the low profile since Jim Delaney told WAC commissioner Benson to go get his fucking shinebox.
