Bengals versus Steelers, part III

Now is Kimo getting blocked into Palmer or away from him? (And stay on point--I'm not asking about his status as the most classiest Steeler).

Physics be damned, huh?

KVO is getting, if anything, pushed wide of Palmer.

Come to think of it, the Bengals O lineman can definately see Palmer in his peripheral, why in the world would he "block the defender into" his QB?

I am not trying, in any way, say that the injury was intentional, but damn, if he wasn't going for the knee....

The Steelers were down 10-0 and 17-7 and still won. How wasn't the ball control fucked then? If the Steelers had to score more points they would have. That was my point. They sat on the ball in the 4th quarter and still ended up with 31. If the Bengals were within one score the whole game, 40+ points was not out of the realm of possibility against the porous Begnals defense. Hence the reason why the Steelers would have won in a shootout.

Well that is easy. We were never going to keep any pressure on you to score with Kitna in there. All you have to do is grind it out and win. I knew we were toast because we could not score enough points to make the Atomic Jaw Man change his game plan. There was ZERO chance to win after Carson goes down.

I do not believe teh KVO hit was dirty. But I do believe that he could have avioded it.

Here is Marvins quote after the game as reported on another website....

"Let it go... we aren't going to sit here like a baby and cry like their quarterback."

Referring to Big Bens poor wittle knee that gotta a bumpity bump fwom that mean ol Odel.

Hey at least the refs agreed with you and called roughing the passer. Oops no they didn't. You Bengals are fucking idiots. Wishing death on a player? It can't get anymore ridiculous than that. It was a clean hit and plus he Palmer still had the ball. Steinbach was blocking and Kimo had to make a play. What's Kimo suppose to do? Not hit the golden boy QB? Yes it was shame that Carson tore his ACL and MCL. It would be a shame if that happened to anybody.

You talking about the same QB that has taken responsibility for all of his losses. The Odell hit sure looked more dirty than what Kimo did. I didn't see any of you Bengal fans whining about that hit. Marvin Lewis sounded like classes baby after the game.

The Steelers didn't grind it out to win once Palmer went down. They got the lead by throwing the ball. The Steelers started sitting on the ball once they went up by 2 scores in the 4th quarter. My point is if the game was closer in the 4th quarter the Steelers were capable of putting up the points. What makes you believe they couldn't keep up with the Bengals in a shoot out?

After reading all the posts in this thread, and, if Marvin Lewis actually said that, then one thing is for sure. This rivalry is back in a big way.

Good gawd, I can't wait till next year. It's been awhile since I said that about the NFL.

GO BENGALS.

if you watch it live... he comes in low... but definitely doesn't come in very fast. He's slowing down as he gets close to the leg.

If he's trying to make a dirty hit, I think he could thrust himself a little harder into the leg.
