You got Bengal fans wishing death on a player. That's probably why I went off. It just infuriates me that Bengal fans think this was cheap shot and it wasn't. It is not like we are talking about Romo here. If I lumped you when those idiots then I apologize.
He used to be a Bengal. When these two met last time, Van Olhoffen said he couldn't be happier for the city and the team. He still has friends on the Bengals. I highly doubt it was on purpose. His reaction when he saw Palmer was hurt says it all. He obviously felt bad.
But, damn. What might have been. Oh well. They will build on this season for next year. Look out NFL, the Bengals will be a force to be reckoned with for a while now.
WHO DEY!!! (w/ PALMER)

I was at the game today, and first off I don't think that Kimo injured Carson on purpose, but I would say that it should have been flagged.
The Steelers were playing dirty most of the game, there was lots of things that happened away from the play that should have been stopped long before they ever happen.
After Housh didn't make the catch you had two steelers just stand right over him and sort of push him down. (which I know this was shown on tv) after this play the fans who were already frothing at the mouth started booing VERY loudly...and chanting the steelers suck.......so what do the steelers defenders do? They go over and start taunting the fans by raising their hands and cupping their hands to their ears for the fans to boo them louder. classless!!
Of course at that time that is when about 200 cops and security came out and surrounded the feild.
The officials were probally the worst I have ever seen in any game I have ever been to. They missed a ton of calls.
Hell even on PrimeTime just a few minutes ago Tom Jackson said he felt the steelers players went to far with some of their actions uring the game.
None of this showed up on T.V. to be quite honest with you. You could be right! My friend is a Bengal season ticket holder & we talked after the game & she said not one bad thing! Maybe she missed something, she was there. There are many conflicting stories here on t.v. & the board so I'm just listening & watching!
Umm, they showed the replay of Housh's altercation with the steelers DB's in the endzone, and they were preventing him from getting up, pushing him to the ground.
And, Ward was most definitely cupping his hand to his ear towards the fans. I saw a few instances of Steelers players "taunting" the crowd.
All this being said, It's NFL playoff football between two bitter rivals, I, for one, wouldn't have it any other way. This only proves my earlier point. After more than a decade of indiferrence, this rivalry is most definitely "back".
GO BENGALS!!
2007 SUPER BOWL CHAMPS!
Hey, a guy can dream, can he not?!
I just read where your All-Pro OT Willie Anderson said it wasn't a cheap shot.
"I know Kimo. He's not a dirty player," Anderson said of von Oelhoffen, who played for the Bengals from 1944-99 before moving to Pittsburgh for the chance to become a starter. "Guys were infuriated, but your first reaction is to defend your player. It wasn't a dirty play."
Sit down and shut the up. Did you idiots even watch Kimo when he played for the Bengals? How many times did he try to take out a QB?
Keep it up with the excuses.
Kitna
24 for 40 - 197 yards 1 TD 2 INT
Palmer average against the Steelers in 2005:
22 for 37 - 227 yards 1.5 TD 1 INT
Wow he would have made that much of difference.
yeah lets just ignore all the personal fouls and late hits by the almighty shit talkin pansy ass steelHERS
There only one reason you dive at the side of a quarterback's legs when there's no one around you. You see an opportunity and you go for it. Whether Cowherd ordered it or it was decided in the huddle, it goes back to the coach, he's the one that's supposed to discipline these guys.
I am a diehard Steelers fan, always have been, always will be. I watched the game from my living room couch.
I did not see anyone taunting the crowd or anything too serious from either team. I'm not saying it didn't happen, because it probably did.
What I do know is that if you go back 4 or 5 weeks to when Cincy played in Pittsburgh, the Bengals players were doing plenty of their own crowd taunting, acting as though they had just won the Super Bowl or something.
If you want to talk about all the missed calls, let's not forget a few of the obvious holding calls the Bengals OLine were committing.
