Game Thread BCS Championship Game, tOSU vs. Florida - Jan 8th

Im watching a replay of the UF-Auburn game on ESPN Classic.

And these guys cant hang with us. Auburn is running all over them, and this was when UF had their star DT that has since left the team. Our OL is also better than Auburns...

Leak's potential tough to live up to
Quarterback has fascinated and frustrated Gators fans in up-and-down career

GAINESVILLE, Fla. Mention quarterback Chris Leak's name in Gator country and noses wrinkle like grapefruit left too long in the fridge.
It's not that Florida fans dislike the senior. They just don?t always trust him. "We love him, but I get nervous when he takes a snap," said Shelby Cohen, a Florida junior whose doubts about Leak are shared by other students on campus.

Viewing UF Games

If you interested in viewing all of UF games, you can do it on-line at Planet Gator. It's absolutely free, no registration required, all plays are included, and each game only takes about one hour to view.

I viewed South Carolina, Auburn, FSU, and Arky. I am really impressed by kick returns, punt blocking, and field goal blocking. But in other departments, I think UF is a little overmatched by the Buckeyes. I would be interested in hearing everyone's thoughts.

That article is typical UF mentality. Living in Florida, these fans here think that their team is destined to win the game purely because they are in the SEC. I have yet to hear anyone say that they actually watched any of the OSU games. They are all basing their opinions on the 3pt win over Michigan, and none of them realize that OSU had a sloppy second half to let the score get close. I honestly think there may be masses suicides here if UF loses this game. :bonk:

It's pretty funny that they're asking Zook how they should beat Troy...

It is also pretty funny that these people are still clinging to that game as representative of a "weakness" for the Buckeyes. Unless we're playing ttun in the Super Bowl, I don't think we'll be caught looking ahead.

OHIO STATE FOOTBALL
Numbers say OSU has trouble with SEC

Columbus- Growing up as a devoted college football fan who wanted to watch and learn from the best, Anthony Gonzalez always made sure to tune in to all the games he could by teams that were in, according to him, the two unparalleled conferences - the Big Ten and the SEC.

Florida linebacker Brandon Siler then went back to watching film, after learning the Gators would play Ohio State on Jan. 8 for the national title. The junior has been that way since beginning his career as a true freshman starting on Florida's defense.

On paper, the sports books like Ohio State by seven points or more headed toward its national championship showdown with Florida.
