I think you're dead wrong. TGII attacts major attention in the defensive secondary. That attention opens up opportunities for the #3, #4 or even #5 WRs. There were more than a few plays where Troy had the time to find those opportunities, but unfortunately, without #7 stretching the 'D', they weren't there.

Not sure what you mean by 'Heacock's Mess'. Please explain. :p

how great is it to be a buckeyes fan?

seriously. think about being able to play for national titles, sure you can't win them all, but i'll take a shot at a title over any other bowl game win anytime.

I was thinking about the long layoff while watching some pro playoff games this week. I thought, why is college so dumb about this? You don't see the pros taking 6 weeks off before the playoffs start.

It was their D Lineman killing Boone and Troy not Smith and Nelson so , yea, they would have been pressuring him regardless of Teddy.

And, no shit it is not us, you know what I mean so why be a dick?

This is so true. Kind of fun to expect to win them all. Think about all those fans out there who don't have that luxury.:oh:

I'm not sure what it was in the game film from UF's season that made our defensive coaches think that we could shut down UF's offense by only rushing 3-4 guys and dropping the rest into a zone. I really wish I knew.

Congrats to Florida and company on beating what I consider to be one of the better tOSU teams we've had in a long time congrats on a great game plan and execution.

I want to take a second here and thank God for not letting me witness a few events which I know happened or will happen tonight:

1.) Mark May taking a shit in a Buckeye's helmet wearing nothing but a discarded Buckeye necklace.

2.) Lee Corso raping Brutus the mascot wearing nothing but the Florida Gators mascot head.

3.) And last but not least having to watch Lou Holtz "spray" his disdainful thoughts on the cameras at ESPN while jamming needles in his Jim Tressel voodoo doll under the desk.

Congrats again to the Florida Gators.

I don't mind losing the game. I don't mind that the Buckeyes were blown out. It just hurt to see Troy Smith have such a bad night. After watching him rise from his mistakes and become such a great young man, I really wanted him to go out on a high note.

Win or lose though I'm proud as hell of this kid, and very little of it has to do with what he's accomplished on the field.

Nothing is more true than this right now. Everyone is damn proud of this past season, and this is nothing for the players to dwell upon

Can't argue there... we still have a great program, and had a great season.

I think I'm out -- the wife is pestering me and I have to get up early.

As others have posted already.... it's 10:50 mountain time and michigan still sucks.
