When one is active you can pinpoint it's location really fast so they don't last long. The time it is really useful is if there is a chopper doing a really good job and your team doesn't have good pilots. It allows the Javelin to lock onto the chopper and takes it down pretty quick. Of course you have to be fast with that too, since once again a good chopper pilot/gunner would take it out really fast.

Overall I haven't encountered anyone that uses it well yet. I suppose a well organized team could use it effectively. Yet I would still rather have two engineers with RPG's than a recon wasting time with that (heck, or a recon in general) and one engineer using using a javelin (which sucks vs. tanks up close).

So up until tonight I really haven't given Assault much of a chance because I hated the early weapon(s). Started using it tonight with the UMP-45 and then the M416A I believe? Either way, I went on a tear using the Assault kit and racked up ridiculous points reviving people. Prior to that I had primarily been using Recon/Engineer with some Support mixed in as of late. I think I am going to put Recon away. I get great K/D ratio but SPM is much lower with it than if I go Engi/Assault.

Also, do you guys prefer Conquest or Rush mode? I like Conquest but it seems late at night you're lucky to get full teams in Conquest so i'm forced to play Rush.

For those complaining about the tactical light, the next patch will tone them down.

I usually play as a medic or engineer, and use the classes accordingly.

If I'm a medic, my #1 priority is to throw health and revive.

If I'm an engineer, I repair and take down aircraft/tanks.

So, I do very well on points, not so great on K/D :slappy:

Things are looking up, I played 3 maps and changed servers and then played 3 maps again and then crashed after the round was over (I usually crash during the round).

My personal best before was 1.5 maps before a crash, I never made it to 2 in a row. It felt really good to get into the flow of the game.

The first map is always iffy for me, you jump in mid round and it takes a few minutes to understand what's happening (at least for me). HUGE difference to start a round at the beginning and play all the way through the map.

When my shit gets fixed I'd like to find a way to restart my stats, lol.

There is a new beta driver out. Doubt it will fix your issues, but worth a try.
