Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

Well, you just don't sweat as much in Ohio as in Louisiana because Ohio has winters. Simple matter of laws changing to accommodate geography.

That's true. Ohio's winters are a bitch. Every time I build up good will and repent for my sins through my sweating, here comes winter to take all of my deserved good will away.

I believe in Ohio, and most states, if you have a gun in the car (legally) and are pulled over the first thing you have to do is notify the officer that you have a weapon in your possession and tell him where it's located. If the driver did not notify the officer of possessing a weapon (legally or not) and the officer saw it out in the open then shouldn't that be just cause to search the vehicle? That's if the laws in LA are the same as they are in Ohio.
Apparently cam told the officer he had the gun.

i'm not 100% sure we have actual written laws.
we just make [Mark May] up as we go.

I can say from personal experience that this approach works surprisingly well with the excellent Cajun and Creole cuisine one finds in your state.

it's the only way to go.
i may be biased, but I think i can whip up a pretty mean jambalaya. i don't think i ever made it the same way twice.
hell, i don't even know what i put in there half the time.

+1

I know what I like in jambalaya. Make sure I put in plenty of celery, sausage and shrimps. After that, it's kind of "whatever is in the house."

"I've got a gun in the car with me officer. It's right there next to all the pot."

"Is there a lid on the drink sir?"

this is Louisiana. they don't ask about kids on the drink. we got multiple drive through places to buy alcohol in every parish.

but that does remind me of an idiot that lives in same town as me.

few years back a cop got shot down here. so every law enforcement person in the tri parish are converged on this lil town. set up a road block at the only road leading in.
and when I say road block I mean like close to a dozen cars. so many blue lights flashing it lit up the night sky.
car pulls up to road block, rolls the window down and smoke just pours out.
driver with a pound of pot sitting in lap toking on a joint looks at cop and says "man, what's happening down here? why you blocking the whole road?"

No surprise here with this revelation....

Alabama's Cam Robinson, Laurence Jones have chance to play in season opener after arrests

Alabama coach Nick Saban told reporters at SEC media days that All-SEC left tackle Cam Robinson and reserve defensive back Laurence Jones faced internal discipline after their arrests on drug and weapons charges and will have a chance to play in the season opener against USC.

Entire article: http://espn.go.com/college-football...-internal-discipline-play-crimson-tide-opener

A surprise would be if Saban actually suspended them for some games.
