All I know is the kid has graduated and wants to play his senior year for Kirby Smart. Saban says no.
If he leaves and comes to UGA, he has to enroll as a grad student and sit out a year if Alabama doesn't approve the transfer.

Alabama transfer Daylon Charlot tweets move to Kansas

Well that certainly didn’t take long.

Wednesday, Daylon Charlot took to Twitter to announce that he had made the decision to transfer out of the Alabama football program and continue his collegiate playing career elsewhere. A day later, the wide receiver took to the same social media site to reveal his next elsewhere — Kansas.

Alabama OL Charles Baldwin following teammate to Kansas

Well, there are worse ways to go about building a program, right?

A day after Kansas added Alabama wide receiver Dylan Charlot, Tide offensive lineman Charles Baldwin revealed he’s leaving for Lawrence as well.

A junior college transfer, Baldwin’s departure from the Power Five’s best program to its worst was aided by a May dismissal for a team rules violation.
