Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

Freshwater is a God right now.

We are pretty confident we will be able to run the ball, even with Garrett being back to 100%.

Against UT, Bama only ran two traditional handoff plays. All the other runs came from the option.
I'm curious to see if this will help alleviate their allergy to dual threat QBs as well, due to facing it daily in practice. Do you have capable backups that can run on the scout team?

Cooper is pretty fast. Like I said before, I don't think the scrambling qb is necessarily the problem. It has to be tied to good, tall receivers. All of aTm's receivers are about 4" taller than the person on Bama who will be guarding them.

The defense is much faster and leaner this year than in the past. The transition started last year. This year, the defense has the ability to run to the right place against anybody, they just don't always do it.

Thanks for the breakdown. I'll miss Trey DePriest helping lead OSU to a sugar bowl win with his heft (without the freakish measurables of most of your monsters)
