Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

Grabiel, Shaduer, Ewers, Allar, Carson beck, I know he won't actually go before him cause by god I can fix him and all that alethicism but I'd take Howard over him. Howard at least has a good shot at being a functional backup and lockerroom guy for a decade plus. Milroe is RB/slot recviever with a strong arm that throws a decent deep ball
He's basically Michael Robinson 2.0

Please make that happen. That would be so great.
And, if I were a college student at Vandy, would that stop me from celebrating on the field after beating Alabama? I don't think it would.
Ha - Alabama could go 12-0 in the regular season, but in 4 games they failed to beat the other team on the field, so Alabama whined about fans storming the field, so the other team forfeited. "#1 and undefeated Alabama outscored their opponents in 8 of 12 games this season..."

Is the Alabama AD claiming this is a player issue thing? I mean, that sounds legitimate. Not that that I've ever heard of a player getting hurt when the fans storm the field/court. Maybe Caitlin Clark got hurt when an Ohio State fan (female) ran into her once. But is this the reason? If so, fine. Or is he whining because his team lost and the fans of the other team were happy about it? Could it be that after all these years of winning championships, the rest of the world doesn't love us for it? And they enjoy beating us?
The first one would be acceptable, if there was actually SOME history of players getting injured.
My money is on the second reason.

If implemented by the SEC, I want to see a visiting team* (with fans that "travels well") lose on the road and the visiting team's fans all storm the field causing the home team to forfeit the game. Tennessee goes to Vanderbilt, gets upset, and the Tennessee fans all storm the field (acting like they are cheering for Vanderbilt) and Tennessee gets a forfeit win ...

* Like Tennessee. An estimated 30,000 to 40,000 Tennessee fans attended the College Football Playoff game against Ohio State in December 2024

I agree that it'd be great to see. But it'd never happen.
Imagine going to Indiana, watching Indiana upset Ohio State, and then throwing on some IU gear and storming the field. And remember that you need to get at least 5,000 more fans in on your plan.
