This happens to me all the time in the Football sctions of the forums. Mainly the J.T. Barret forum post. If you click the adobe update...good luck because you are going to need it. I usually dont fall for those things but that one day I did and it took an hour to get everything back to normal in Chrome. It completely took over google.com for me. Word to the wise: if you have ads for things on google.com, you have been compromised with malware. I cant remember exactly how I got rid of that behavior but it was difficult. uninstalling and re-installing didn't work. Also if you fall for it you should look through your programs installed and filter by date and see all the bad programs it installed. It was a big problem. I almost considered wiping my OS and starting fresh. I really hate invasive malware. On my laptop, about 4-5 times this week the page has redirected to a 'you have an outdated version of flash' page (http://simplecomputerupgrade.info/o...18df&rand=54887f364a664&source=mbs-f40&auto=y)
It also downloads Installation.exe without me clicking on anything. I haven't had a chance to track down the source of it, and doing so will be a little tricky given that I tend to open 3-10 tabs at a time.
If you cant get the google.com re-direct fixed try googling the web address that it directs you to and find solutions that way.
Edit: Now I remember. I did a system restore to a last know date where my computer was working properly then used the free malwarebytes program to make sure it was all gone. That problem was a whopper!
