Don't normally use Firefox but I'll load up firebug and try to help tomorrow while I'm at work

Thanks, that would be a giant help. Basically when we can sort out which ad is provoking the bad behavior, I just need the whole HTML chain that shows where it went from USAT forward. Because our ads are served in iframes, it's usually fairly easy to tell where a position starts and ends.

The 120 Sports video ads have got to go. They take a few seconds to load while I'm perusing the page and then it kicks it with the video absolutely blasting...scares the shit out of me. What's worse is sometimes there's an ad (e.g., for Nissan) first and then it goes into the 120 Sports video. On top of that, they're always are side-by-side and since they load slightly out of sync it sounds even more annoying and you have two players to pause/stop. Here's a screenshot...the one on the left is what played after the 15-second Nissan commercial and then right is that same commercial paused.

EDIT: Hopefully they're not one of the ads that actually generate a return for BP.

Just to be clear, they're auto audio, not just auto video?

Doesn't matter if they're actual earners, we don't do auto audio.

I've gone looking for them but haven't seen them at all yet. If you (or anyone who sees them) can get Firebug or any other code on them that shows the chain of servers that produce them, that would be a huge help.

Now that I said that, 120 Sports is back at again. On Page 3 of the "The Other Sideline (Cinci)" thread, the auto-audio vids are back (no commercial lead-in that I noticed). Here's the code:

<!-- Deety BP Custom Ads inline in Threads - After First Post - Visible to all -->
<!-- Set number of posts before ad shows -->
<div class="messageList" frameborder="0"> <!-- Block around inline ads -->
<center>
<!-- Left ad iframe -->
<iframe class="ad_rectangle_inline" src="http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/bp_files/bp_300x250_usatsmg.html"></iframe>
<!-- Right ad iframe -->
<iframe class="ad_rectangle_inline" src="http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/bp_files/bp_300x250_usatsmg_2a.html"></iframe>
</center>
</div>
<!-- END Deety BP Custom Ads inline in Threads - After First Post - Visible to all -->

Those ads continue to show, but what's weird is that while now most of the time they're not auto-audio, sometimes they are. What's really weird is that on the Forum home page they showed in both the upper right and bottom right iframes of the ad bar, but only the bottom one went auto-audio. I'll have to Google to see if there's a way to have the browser disable all auto-audio.

EDIT: Just noticed that the ads seem to load with the audio off, but if you happen to mouse over them, the audio kicks in. This happened on the Forum main page again, where those same ads appeared in both frames of the ad bar and audio off, and when I moused over them to check if the audio would kick in, sure enough it did.

*Sigh* Yet again. Swiffer ad came up in the Bosa thread, with audio blasting and no controls to stop, pause, or mute the thing. And when it finally finished, it reloaded with another ad, still with no controls. I had to leave the page.

This just popped up as I was scrolling down the forum main page. Only way to get rid of it was to close Safari. The page was still loading so I didn't see any of the ads displayed as it greyed out the screen, including the navigation interface of Safari, bottom and top.
