Am I the only one that has problems when I use my iPhone? Today I'm being constantly sent to the App Store almost every time I go to a new page for a game called Game of War: Fire Age. Really freaking annoying having to close out the App Store every time I change pages.

Haven't seen it on an ipad, but I'll try with the phone.

If it keeps happening and you happen to notice a common ad each time, it would be a huge help to know what that ad is and in what position.

@scarletmike -- just out of curiosity, are you logged in on your iphone?

Yep, logged in. I try to keep an eye on the ad slots when I can, but honestly, half the time the slots don't load completely before the pop-ups or redirects happen so I don't usually see them as clicking on the button to take me to the new post in a thread rarely leaves me at the top of the page. On the rare occasion that I do land at the top of a page in a thread, I've usually scrolled down past the top ads by the time the misbehaving happens. In the case of the previous one I reported (where I had to close out Safari on my phone because the only option was to click through on the ad), there was no way to see what had loaded in any ad slot, as it took over Safari and the ad slot that I could kind of make out hadn't loaded completely by the time the pop-up happened, so it never loaded.

I'll try and adjust my browsing habits a bit to attempt to keep a closer eye on the ad slots.

When going to the main forum page through my favorites in Chrome a minute ago, I got the Chrome red screen saying that adex.basebanner.com is a phishing site.

Cleared cache and cookies and things seem OK for me now, but thought you would like the heads up.

Please let me know if you run into this again.

Thanks, all. Nothing was bad on our end, Google flagged the remote site and they must have been part of an ad chain. Want to make sure it's fully resolved though.

On my laptop, about 4-5 times this week the page has redirected to a 'you have an outdated version of flash' page (http://simplecomputerupgrade.info/o...18df&rand=54887f364a664&source=mbs-f40&auto=y)

It also downloads Installation.exe without me clicking on anything. I haven't had a chance to track down the source of it, and doing so will be a little tricky given that I tend to open 3-10 tabs at a time.

That's some ugly shit, and if it's us it will be coming from one of the 300x250s. If you happen to catch what ad is there when that happens, please let me know. I'll start watching for it myself. Thanks for the heads up.

I have been seeing that also.
Could still be this.
