I feel ya, but ripping the progam isn't "coverage" of the program...thus you wouldn't be missing anything by not listening.

yes got it...not listening to them....I do feel its reasonable that I should get some real Ohio State and college football talk in Columbus...especially from the station that is allowed to broadcast Ohio States games

I know a lot of people that like their show. Its a combination of the lowest common denominator and people that know next to nothing about sports. Anyone whose opinion on sports I actually respect agrees that their show is a fucking joke.

or really just no effect at all......I got it, his thanks for listening....my point is the market is prime for the taking IMO....how the fk does bammer have a nationally syndicated radio show and Ohio State does not?

I've been quite surprised with how much Demetrius Stanley is a glass half empty kind of guy. I would have thought they'd been on the lookout for a more positive guy to take over for Hooley, but Stanley isn't afraid to point out flaws in the staff, offense, personnel, and so on.

Plug in the iPod and listen to Dan Patrick.
That's what I do. Common Man and Torg just troll for the base of Ohio State fans. Nothing but negative. It's like listening to two middle school kids talk about sports. I lasted about 5 minutes with them.

1230 am is alright, but I really like Dan Patrick. He's on while I'm at work so I can only listen on the way home. Dan Patrick app on my phone and plug in on the way home.

If they could get someone with half a brain to come on and talk Ohio State it'd be outstanding, but they are looking for the mouth breathers.

What sucks is if you have XM, from 4-7 is the Paul Feinbaum show and on ESPN radio is i think doug gottleib...but i would rather listen to either of those guys then MY GUYS....sad as that is

Pretty much this. It's entertainment, and it would get pretty boring if everyone agreed on everything all the time. Your email is the exact reason they rant about the "1%'ers". There's no reason you can't be honest every once in a while about a group of fans, or about a teams' performance on the field. They're realistic with their expectations of the Buckeyes, and they've often scolded the fans for one reason or another (being flat at home games, not showing up for basketball games), and the few that do in fact seem to drink the Kool-aid play right into what they're selling.
