They always played the games on 97.1, and I don't give a shit about what ESPN hacks have to say....

Are there non-ESPN shows worth listening to?

I have actually grown fond of Andrew Siciliano on FSR on 103.9 (if it is still on)

I also like Mike and Mike on 1460 along with the herd, but don't know anything about the night shows since i could never get them.

Andrew Siciliano was the best guy in sports talk radio. Now where I am going to listen to my nickleback songs at if they steal 97.1?

1460/97.1 The Fan

Apparently they started this yesterday, and I have to say that it's about time. 1460's signal is garbage.

97.1 The Fan

Radiohio Inc. announces move of OSU's flagship station to WBNS-FM (97.1).
Sports fans in central Ohio will get to experience sports radio in a whole new dimension today, as Columbus? sports station ?The Fan? moves to WBNS-FM (97.1). The change will answer central Ohio?s call for a stronger signal to the station, which has broadcast the sports format exclusively on 1460 AM since its debut in 1995.
Formerly known as 1460 The Fan, the station will offer sports fans across central Ohio a clear loud FM signal to hear Ohio State football and basketball games, ESPN programming and local personalities Chris Spielman and Kirk Herbstreit. The station will continue to be simulcast on the AM dial at 1460.
