Thank god this is about 10 years late. I always thought it was amazing out I could get 850 WKNR out of Cleveland and 700 out of Cincinnati. BUt could never get Columbus stations in Columbus. Thank you

If I'm driving around at night here in the Chi, I can get 1100 WTAM, and listen to the Cavs/Indians games. My dad can get it in South Carolina too.

For those of you complaining about 1460's signal strength, it's not because they don't have the power to crank it up, it's because their license only allows them certain output during certain hours. They could broadcast a strong signal like WLW out of Cincinnati but their license doesn't allow them to do so.

How does 610 do it?

Could they pay for a better license?

Drove to work today (Columbus to Dayton), and was able to get 97.1 clear until I reached Huber Heights. I could still make out what they were saying by the time I got to work in Vandalia, but unless I absolutely have to listen to a local Columbus show, then 1410 out of Dayton gives me the same programming.

I'm very happy with the range that I got out of 97.1 this morning. Now I don't have to hook up my phone's Mobile TV to an FM transmitter in order to get ESPN Radio all the way home.
