It's a ok deal? In what way?

Harbaugh's just a figurehead who has little or no effect on game day, and now scUM players can rally around Dear Leader by wearing "Free Harbaugh" tee shirts and "Jim-Bo" headbands and "winning one for the Gipper". It's an absolute joke of a "discipline" that does nothing to address past transgressions and very little to punish the transgressors.

I guess the conference is now the Big M and the Little 13.
Come on man… seriously guys. I’ve been in here maybe more than everyone.

The sentiment was he needs at least the season and that’s what he got so what’s the problem here?

I get it. I want their season over. It’s game fixing and corruption and I think I’m the most extreme here with what I want done to them right now.

But we all knew this was the penalty ahead of time. So not sure why there’s surprise now that it’s been handed down.

Look at the response from the big ten. They put them out to twist in the wind for the NCAA. They couldn’t do a death penalty right now. Many think nothing should happen to them right now let alone 3 games.

This is good enough for now

I just think the B1G has limited options on how far they can go, because they can only address the sportsmanship part, and that area is super gray. I think we should take a step back and breath. What just happened is pretty big by a conference, because typically they stay out of discipline.

A fine would have been a joke. This is probably about as much as they can do without it becoming a full blown legal mess, and basically become futile with court intervention which could take weeks.
Exactly.

All of us have to remember he got approval from all the schools for this. It was the presidents who stated they didn’t want to punish the kids. Perhaps he couldn’t get more approved guys.

Bottom line is this is 13 on 1. We got more than 2 games and the big ten confirmed they cheat.

How so (on the second sentence)?
Big Ten Conference Agreement 10.01 states in part that “The Big Ten Conference expects all contests involving a member institution to be conducted without compromise to any fundamental element of sportsmanship.
Michigan compromised a fundamental element of sportsmanship.

When the NCAA finally acts this will come with all the trimmings. For now it labels them Cheaters with a capital C.

I read the Big 10 release. It says the NCAA came to them and said that they had proof of the scheme. the way I read the letter, this is a wake up call to Ono that he needs to do shit now, before the NCAA drops the hammer on them.
I don't think he's capable. In the beginning, I was on the fence, though I knew that what he would do would be solely to benefit Santa Ono. Now, I've come to believe that he is dysfunctionally addicted to the adoration of the fanbase, and that completely drives his decision making.

@Captain Buckeye I'm curious as to how eliminating a figurehead coach for 4 hours out of the week makes a shitsworth of a difference.
He makes it all go. We all saw what happened in their non conference without Jim but with Stalions.

Now they have neither.

The head coach does more than you think. They organize everything, they make the decisions, and they’re the voice before during and after the game.

It’s more than you all think. Have college ball experience and I’m telling you this is a hit

Not much teeth without suspending the coordinators and whoever else has compiled all this bullshit. Jimmy is just the dumbass cheater in chief who approved the operation. The goons still have the info and can execute at will while the team and fans treat him like a fucking martyr and rally around dear leader.

The cheating fucks will continue to benefit from what they've done and it will continue to compromise the rest of the season, full stop. My only hope is that teams have time to change a few things up enough to start fucking with them the longer the season goes on. But I'm not optimistic. They're a good enough team on their own, and having to beat them at their place while wasting time on new signs or limiting how plays are called is complete horseshit.

AA better be a smoldering crater after the NCAA is done with them.
