My problem with this is if you are going to suspend him you make it so he can't coach during the week any suspension which is just in game is "sounds good but not really much teeth" I'd argue suspending him from coaching during the week and letting him be there on game day would be far more impactful

All violations are not equal…but what becomes obvious here is that not all schools who commit violations are equal either. If this had been Wisconsin or Minnesota who had suddenly gone undefeated twice off the throes of many mediocre seasons and they were caught cheating…instant ass kicking. I guarantee it.

This from the guy who was insisting that the CUNTS not be allowed to play another game? It wasn't possible for the NCAA to do that; that HAD to come from the league.

Nope, just a ‘league’ statement, not attributed to any individual.

Edit - he did sign the 13-page letter that is the last attachment on the B1G’s page showing the action.

And why no press conference where questions could be asked?

That is one good takeaway. If it's three games, that means the Committee (whatever the fuck it's called) became involved and voted for immediate punishment (even if it's not as severe as hoped).
