The level of denial among the Cheaters Up North Towards Saginaw is beginning to remind me of 2003 when Bucknuts was crawling with Cryami fans talking about the Buckeyes “tainted, soon to be overturned” national title

CUNTS are acting like the Cult if you ask me.

Turning on their cowardly administration and corrupt BOT yadda, yadda, yadda ...

we didn't do it

Please stop distracting my employees. They've got to pick a game for this week.

The B1G has to probably walk the line with all the TV contracts and shit, but is there really any way they can just let them carry on business as usual for the rest of the season with all of this out there now? Logically you would not think so.
Again, with you in my heart, but it has to go through a legal process before you can stop Michigan from playing. Public opinion might make them suspend more coaches, but those coaches have legal rights that must be honored.

Yeah, this. Anybody hoping for the nuclear option post haste is going to be disappointed. Now, the real question becomes whether of not scUM, if confronted with smoking gun evidence, decides to be proactive and self impose suspensions and other penalties (postseason ban), that's another discussion. If they are told that they are looking at serious, far-reaching penalties, Their AD has already shown he is not opposed to acting. Does that include suspending their coaching staff, etc? Time will tell, but they aren't receiving any kind of "death penalty" without due process.

I think long-term, they're fucked. But the most I see happening this ongoing season is maybe some suspensions. I do think there will be something, just unsure of what.

You're probably right. Is there a legal obligation that stops the Big Ten from giving them a post-season ban today?

No doubt the people in the B1G offices are pissed off at TTUN, especially with this coming to light in season, but now there are attorneys involved on all sides and contracts to consider. The last thing they want to do is act too quickly, overlook some contractual language, and open the door for TTUN to countersue or wriggle their way out of it - which is what TTUN's legal team is looking for now.

It's easy to say just shut them down, but there are questions to answer first. I don't envy the B1G's situation and fuck TTUN for creating it.

In the long run, a multi-year post season ban will be the most crippling to the program. Five would be great, but I'll settle for three. That will destroy recruiting when there will be about 20 teams every year that have a reasonable shot at the playoffs, and tsun has to sit home.

Of course and for the pure personal satisfaction of it, I want Harbaugh to be shitcanned, show-caused and publicly humiliated.

Let's say that long-term, they are fucked. If you were in their shoes, would you want to go out with a chance to win the whole thing before getting nuked, or would you sit there with the white flag in the air, saying, "Just leave the bomb here. We'll push the button as soon as you're clear."
No way do they self-impose a post-season ban that covers this year.

Wait... what? I don't read newspapers, but how quickly is the Columbus Dispatch going to jump over it when Ohio State does something? I mean... I never got the feeling that the Columbus Dispatch was avoiding stories when Ohio State players were accused of getting illegal benefits, or when the coach knew about them and lied to the NCAA about it. To not have any story about this now is crazy. Either they want it to go away or they don't think it's a story.
TSUN under Harbaugh--not sure about prior--has been pretty ruthless about limiting access for anyone who won't shill for the program. That's how you get people like Bacon being the in-the-know insiders.

One thing that I'm pretty certain of is that Ono is going to do what's best for Ono...not the program, the athletic department or even the overall university.
