The level of denial among the Cheaters Up North Towards Saginaw is beginning to remind me of 2003 when Bucknuts was crawling with Cryami fans talking about the Buckeyes “tainted, soon to be overturned” national title
Even in the Columbus circles it’s weird…

Like 97.1 saying they should fine them but to let them play in the post season? Or saying they need to suspend Harbaugh.

Like what isn’t registering about this? This is worse than the Pony Express for fucks sake.

Also, this is probably in reference to the Ohio State staffer attending their own game against Notre Dame and sending money to another staffer over Venmo with a shamrock.

They’re like chimpanzees recognizing images. Venmo? That’s why we’re guilty, right? Someone sitting in the stands at a game? That’s why we’re guilty, right? A picture of the staffer standing next to a coordinator on the sidelines? That’s why we’re guilty, right?

The context of any of the images is completely beyond their comprehension, but damnit, these pictures prove we’re guilty, we found the same images!!

They are latching on to anything that they can to try to justify all of this. It's the final desperation before the big fall.

The B1G has to probably walk the line with all the TV contracts and shit, but is there really any way they can just let them carry on business as usual for the rest of the season with all of this out there now? Logically you would not think so.

You can't set the precedent, 'Well, the TV money is just too big so we're not going to punish our flagship programs.' You need to go the opposite direction. Hammer them so hard every other program in the conference is fucking terrified to get caught at a hint of impropriety.
I guess they could fine tsun and make them pay their road game opponents for lost revenue. Still can't see how the networks allow it. I think they'll let them play out the regular season, ban them from Indy and the CFP and then forfeit all the games from the last three years along with whatever other penalties come down.

As for them having "dirt" on Ohio State's program, they've been saying that since Harbaugh's sanctimonious ass showed up, yet nothing ever comes of it. Does anyone really believe that they wouldn't have run with it to the NCAA immediately.

This.

Harbaugh isn't the kind of person to sit on something to use at a later date. He's the kid who raises his hand to remind the teacher that they forgot to assign the class their homework. No one likes that kid.

Exactly. Harbaugh's getting his stool pushed in by Ohio State every year sometimes in humiliating fashion and is in serious danger of losing his job, yet he decides to just sit on info that would kneecap the Buckeye program?

38 minutes in, we run on 3rd and 6 from 4 wide, Michigan brings both safeties down before the snap. Perfect playcall, that I would say no sane coordinator would risk in that situation, with our receivers.

1. Why are they calling it a 3rd and 6? The ball is on the 16, the first down line is at the 11. Weird. But it's just the TV graphic. Maybe the yellow line is wrong..
2. Why the hell is Ohio State running on 3rd and 5 or 6, down 15 in the third quarter?
3. That play does look fishy. But certainly not damning. If I were to be somehow neutral watching that game, and a defense attorney for the blue team, I'd suggest that maybe the quarterback or running back has a tell. But I certainly agree with you - with Ohio State's offense, in a 4WR set, you keep your safeties watching out for a pass on 3rd and 5 or 6.

Detroit Free Press home page has nothing about this. Nothing.

Wait... what? I don't read newspapers, but how quickly is the Columbus Dispatch going to jump over it when Ohio State does something? I mean... I never got the feeling that the Columbus Dispatch was avoiding stories when Ohio State players were accused of getting illegal benefits, or when the coach knew about them and lied to the NCAA about it. To not have any story about this now is crazy. Either they want it to go away or they don't think it's a story.
