Nobody is going to be surprised by their old-timey offense this year. Wisconsin gets away with it because they've been doing it for three decades,, recruit for it and have perfected it. With tsun, it was a one time fluke.

Sick kid voodoo gets them at night in Iowa City. Either Sparty or Ped gets them in Ann Arbor. They lose one that they should win simply by being self-satisfied fucks (looking at you Schiano). Day reigns his righteous vengeance and furious anger down upon them in Columbus. Finish 4th in the East and then get their stools pushed in by an 8-4 SeC school in the Who Gives A Fuck Bowl.

Mark it, Dude.

Rack 'em! - Jim Rome, probably.

Some hack from some homer site writes the ultimate fluff piece and DFBIA of course eats it up

#2 is the best

The program is humming along

In previous years, too many guys were worried about their NFL future and they didn’t really lay it on the line for Michigan football. Not like Aidan Hutchinson did.

 Acting like Hutchinson woulda been a high high pick if he hadnt returned for 2021

And he did it. Hutch wasn’t alone. Haskins, Ross, Brad Hawkins, Chris Hinton — there are too many names to mention — they all helped change the culture and its thriving.

A bunch of guys who had zero chances of being high draft picks or even getting drafted at all in some cases returning for 2021 shows that players "put Michigan over the NFL" yea.......

And all those players are now gone, which is a good thing, because of the culture(??)!

The new culture that results in the players talking a massive amount of shit about how they’re the best before playing a snap. This is a new era that is separate from the entitlement and arrogance that has poisoned the team since forever.

Every single one of their fans expected them to lose The Game last November. The "Culture" that they're now hyping is the product of winning that one game. The won it and now have an established "culture"?

That is their culture, talking shit. They talk shit when they lose close games. They talk shit when they get blown out. They talk shit when they win their once-a-decade game. They're bitterly disappointed. They buy mechanics shirts to show how blue collar they are (they're about as blue collar as Derek Zoolander going home to the coal mine). They have revenge tours. They make dance videos. They tweet about being shocked at how much better they were than Ohio State (that was Reno Jesus this past Winter). They just never, ever stop talking shit. That is the essence of that program's culture.

They are so predictable, a few of us said they would say this EXACT thing. Just getting a early jump on excuse forming.

Other than the O line, it's possible that even a stellar year won't lead to lots of All America status

Because if it's a stellar year, that likely means the offense has so many weapons that none have gaudy individual numbers.

JSN, Wilson, Olave & Henderson were all able to put up high level numbers being in our offense together last year.

They won't have any all American level skill players because they just aren't as good or "loaded" there as they have convinced themselves for whatever reason.

Also the old "We purposefully game plan away from our "stars""

Plus, Harbaugh doesn’t game plan around his stars, which doesn’t yield enough ink about them.

Impossible to tell what’s sarcasm and what’s stupidity in the replies.

 The official account is in on it.

The comments on those tweets. Stupidity is abundant

"People don't realize how explosive and diverse this offense will be"

"Spot on! This Michigan offense about to put on a big time show! And the defense has something up it's sleeve. Let the season begin!"

It's continually amusing how this group of dopes can look at Harbaugh's track record over his whole career and say "Oh yea EXPLOSIVE offense is coming!"

"New DC is from same tree as old DC. No difference. New OC will be better than old OC because they understand what makes Michigan Football. Old OC was vastly overrated with his goofy "speed in space""

 DC from Vandy who nobody else wanted "no difference" Gattis was now "Vastly overrated"

"The cultures been established it’s only up from here"

Continuing to believe that 1 year/7 of moderate success = "established culture"

While I (and anyone outside of the UT alumni base) will never concede that tsun and tejas are academic peers, they are so very similar when it comes to football though, right down to the "Michigan is BACK" season leading to the insane amount of chest thumping only to be followed by tears...sweet, sweet motherfucking tears.
You can also throw Da U/Cryami into that mix too of teams constantly claiming to being "back"

Tennessee too. Seems like they've been "back" for the last 20 years. Their fans also seem to hold that sort of level of unwarranted arrogance that DFBIA does.

It's going to be a major shit show when they finally beat Bama again.

BTN appears to be on the Michigan bandwagon claiming the talent level between the two schools to be closer than most realize. Perhaps a strong Michigan gives them a better preseason story, perhaps they believe it. I still say they play no one for their first five games and only Iowa and Penn State prior to the Game. I anticipate they will be undefeated or one loss rolling into the Shoe. Decent QBs, decent RBs, solid O Line, whack coach. I believe the Bucks defense will be much better, but I think the game will be closer than we BP folks anticipate.

scUM gets ratings
And The Game could be closer, but I just don't see it. The talent level isn't close, OSU has WAY more. 2021, was an over confident OSU team playing in shitty weather and got punched in the mouth. I don't see scUM being able to sneak up on OSU this year. Too much embarrassment after The Game and in this off season. From the Heisman joke from Howard to Stroud, to analysts fawning over scUM all off season, scUM coordinators getting new positions based off of the game, etc, Day and Co. are taking this one personal
