2017-2018 Ohio State Men's Basketball (24-7, 15-3, #2 Seed in B1G Tourney)

There is always the chance that Donovan is just sick of the NBA, though not sure how that would work out with the rest of his remaining contract with OKC

I wonder if Jay Wright would actually "take a listen"

Chris Mack could be a pretty realistic option, and I would definitely be ok if it ended up like that.

This isn't the first time I'm skeptical about something Gregg Doyel says.
shut it you...

Two on that list are not realistic. Miller at Arizona and Smart at Texas. The other choices are possibilities. I am hoping the AD did their due diligence and put feelers out to gauge interest of viable candidates. Wouldn't it be great if Archie Miller had a clause in his contract if certain jobs came open, he could walk? Wouldn't that be a kick in Indiana's groin? Just thought it would be cool.

Stevens is making $5 million annually and finally has the Celtics on the verge of contending - can't imagine how rebuilding Ohio State for less money would be more attractive. Donovan may be more interested now that KD has left town, but not his conference.

As for the college guys, if they were options I'm even more frustrated with the last couple years of tOSU hoops. For me the 2015 recruiting class bailing - and Matta practically celebrating it - was the day I lost all hope. I wish Thad the best, but I'm not sorry we're moving on at this point. It's time.

The Warriors are going to run crazy on the west for at least the foreseeable future. OKC is definitely a tough spot right now, all world league MVP in Westbrook but really not much hope to get through to the NBA finals, pressure might start mounting there soon (if it already has not). It's wishful thinking but it may not be as unrealistic as some people might think.

As much as I hate Nova for personal reasons, Jay Wright isn't one of those reasons. That would be a home run. Not that there's such a thing as a clean NCAA program.....especially basketball.....but you've gotta think he's one of the cleaner coaches.
