2016 CFB Week 11 Thread

We will be ranked 2nd if we win out going into the championship week. Let's just say Ped wins out which is terribly likely but loses to Wisconsin.

Bama will get 1 spot, I'd imagine if Clemson wins out they'll get a spot.

Big 12 is out, Pac 12 is probably out now too because the huskies schedule is doo doo. I really think we can get in even if we dont win the big. Our strength of schedule will dwarf any 1 loss team champion such as Oklahoma/Washington

Then you remember we lost on the road at night on a blocked field goal return where we out gained them heavily. They put 4 B1G teams in the top 10 which shows just how much they think of our schedule.

I'm not on the committee, so who are you trying convince? It seems like yourself. I hope you're right, but in no way am I taking it for granted as some seem to be doing.
That's the fun. I'd rather not feel like there's no hope while I'm rooting for wins the next few weeks. It could easily go both ways and guessing right don't mean shit. Just win baby, that's all.

The only team I've seen rewarded after watching their CCG on the couch was Alabama, but history has shown their first loss doesn't really count.
2-team history is pretty freaking irrelevant to this conversation.
We had one loss and watched the B1G title game last year. How did that turn out?
OSU looked like trash all year and it finally caught up with them. They flat out didn't deserve a bid last year.

Clemson has looked iffy all year and it finally caught up with them too. The difference is they've played someone, and Washington has played largely garbage.
Yeah, I know each year is different. But if it was anyone else no one here would be advocating a team that couldn't reach its CCG get a playoff spot, but since it could be tOSU it's likely to happen. I don't think the committee loves the Buckeyes as much as we love them. We're hoping they do, now.
Knock me over with a feather. We're biased towards OSU?

Of course there's uncertainty here, and PSU losing would remove all doubt, but you're acting like it's this incredibly unlikely scenario.

When they're ranked #2 on Tuesday, will you be saying that's temporary?

If we win out, we don't even need to play in the B1GCG. We're going to be #2 this week, and three teams ain't going to jump us if we win out.

Just everyone chill.
What he said. I've hated CCG S from the get go. But his will be cool. Two loss Wisky vs two loss PSU for a bowl tbd slot because the CFP Is going to take the winner of The Game and the Rose Bowl will take the loser. Go on and cry me a fuckin' river Penn State

It's a message board, which is why we're arguing instead of dancing about Harbaugh's nightmare PTSD in Iowa City.

Tell us which 4 get in for you.
