2015 B1G Football Discussion

Okay but I'm really kinda talking from a foosball perspective. I'm not even saying Baylor or TCU are as deserving of the accolades they get now. They might be okay tho. I mean I know one of them can beat Wisconsin. If either school, Maryland or Rutgers puts the effort into their program then it will make the East even tougher. They both have some very fertile recruiting territory. The right coach and system could really elevate either program.

I don't know all of them, but looks like they avoided giving chairs to a lot of guys on the hot seat.

I literally have no idea who 6 of them are including everyone to the right of Fitzgerald and Franklin
Me as I got to the end:

"Uh...one of them is the Maryland guy" (Before remembering his name)

"Shoot, I guess one of them is Rutgers' coach"

"Didn't Nebraska just hire somebody? Old guy."

Literally had to Google Wisconsin's coach.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i am not certain our defense will be elite this year. Not saying they will have to be, but defenses win championships and with the loss of Bennett and Grant and a new middle LB, and with the lapses they had late in the regular season last year, I am not sure we will not be tested hard early on. I also think that MSU for instance is better off having one known starter at QB rather than having to spend a great portion of fall prep trying to figure out who it will be even if either of our guys might be superior to their QB. Again not saying MSU will be superior as a whole. I know I am reaching, but not I do have few concerns and I don't think I can call them the best team ever like some are. The change in OC is another disruption.

I actually do think they will be very good defensively. Maybe not elite, but very good. DL will be better than expected. Returning 2/3 of our stud players here, and feel good about the replacement at the other DE spot (but admittedly the other DT spot is worriesome). At LB we are basically returning 2.5 starters. McMillan played A LOT of snaps as a true freshman. Not as much down the stretch, but early and mid-season. And then I absolutely believe the secondary will improve. Lose one key guy in Doran Grant but otherwise everyone else comes back and the corner opposite Apple will be a great player based on our recruitment (currently looks to be Conley). Add that to the fact that they were all playing in a new system last year. This is year 2 in the system which is typically when you see an improvement as well (although that's usually more so on offense, but still).

I think you're really reaching. Our defense will barely miss a beat, the only place I could see a minor issue is replacing D Grants leadership and shut down ability on one side of the field which Apple should make up for quickly. C Grant split enough reps with McMillon to where he'll be fine. Bennett is a blow but Diesel is nothing to sneeze at himself. We also have arguably the best DE/DL in the nation to go with annupstart who can make some noise and one of the LB corps in the nation to go with one of the DB corps. And Conner Cook would be 3rd string at best at OSU, JT and Cardale are both studs who will tear it regardless of who starts. And our new OC led Kansas to scoring 40+pts a game or something crazy like that... Kansas... University of Kansas Jayhawks... Think about it. If he can do with their talent I think were in the right hands. And its also the same man who has transformed the O line into the slobs that are the best line in the nation... We'll be fine if we don't get complacent

Soooooooo satisfying. Goosebumping glory. Good decision to show two seasons (reg & post) as a two-part video. Best I've seen yet. Very happy that the defense got lots of love.

Why is there no game tomorrow? Aaaaaaaaargh!

I am with you, best I have seen. That EzE run was so epic but I had never noticed Brutus with the Ohio flag jumping up and down in the background as he hit paydirt...I cannot think of anything more satisfying.

I was mostly looking at the 3 on the top-left and assuming it's Wilson acting as a buffer between Urban and mental illness.

My best guess:
Old Corn, Purdont, Turtles all the way down, Kill, Fitzy, New Corn, Corn's daddy
UFM, Indiana, CUNT, Dantonio, Cult, Iroc-Z Aggy, UnderArmour
