I think OSU would do a much better job against Bama for sure, but you want an Oregon matchup before Bama. Oregon doesn't play well against smash mouth type teams that are more physical than them, they tend to fold. Stanford, Auburn, USC to a lesser extent (They're still more of a finesse team, but they've had the talent in previous years), and of course the Buckeyes a few years ago. Oregon may have speed, but physical teams cause them to struggle.
Can you imagine how far Ohio State would have fallen had they lost to Utah or somebody comparable to Utah?
