2013 Preseason and regular polls

It's not a set number. OSU received a pretty big jump due to the Baylor loss. (0.0331) Clemson losing won't help OSU much.

Ok, but I'm asking if it would "hurt" FSU to lose these bonus points, and by how much? The computers still have them #1. The human polls are keeping them #2. Just wondering if a Clemson loss might put them in striking distance by lowering their computer score enough that the "Winston Effect" might influence the human polls to make this close. Especially considering their remaining opponents "should" further erode their SOS, even if they win.

I don't think it would hurt them enough for OSU to jump them.

Curious ... somewhere in this thread, one of you gurus mentioned some kind of bcs "bonus points" given for being another teams only loss? How much is this "bonus" worth? I mean, I don't think I can stomach rooting for TWO SEC! SEC! SEC! teams against an OOC opponent, but how much closer might the Buckeyes be to Free Shoes if SoCalite were to eliminate this "Bonus" by beating Clemson today?

P.S. MUCK FICHIGAN!!! OH-

It's in 2 of the cpus - sagarin and massey.
Fwiw, if we take care of business we should pass FSU in some of the cpus at the end.
Clemson losing would probably get us those 2 cpus.
but even if we had all the computers i dont think its enough to get us #2
