TTUN fans saying we haven't beat anybody? Be beat them! ttun fans talking bad about the conference trying to bring us down is an entirely new low.

I hear you, but in my heart of hearts I just don't want to see another Buckeye team get rolled in an NC game with an SEC team. The holes at linebacker and near side corner... just can't ignore them. In my admittedly poor powers of observation I just do not see this OSU defense ready to contend with Alabama.

Right now, with the Big Ten top half - Michigan, Penn State - so down, with Purdue, Indian, Illinois, NW just awful, the best thing that could happen IMO would be a bowl season in which Big Ten teams finally got to play down instead of always playing up. And they always have to play out of region.

I like the Bucks, or God spare us, MSU in the Rose Bowl, Wisconsin or the Bucks playing South Carolina, MSU or Buckey taking on Clemson. I could see the Big Ten taking three out of four, though not in the NCG... and that would shut a lot of mouths.

Give Urban another year or two and I think the results will be much more satisfying.

tOSU, Sparty, Wisky are as good as any other conference's top 3. Iowa will play tough and probably win their bowl. Minny might as well.

I agree on Iowa, Sparty And Wiscy - but the historical strength of the conference is Ohio State and Michigan and the reason Penn State And Nebraska were brought in was to expand that power. Three of the Big Tens perennial powers are broke and I don't see any of them getting fixed in the next three seasons.

Course, same could be said for the SEC with Tennessee Arkansas and Florida.

Curious ... somewhere in this thread, one of you gurus mentioned some kind of bcs "bonus points" given for being another teams only loss? How much is this "bonus" worth? I mean, I don't think I can stomach rooting for TWO SEC! SEC! SEC! teams against an OOC opponent, but how much closer might the Buckeyes be to Free Shoes if SoCalite were to eliminate this "Bonus" by beating Clemson today?

Perhaps if Winston is charged prior to the final voting. That's the only shot we got.

A lot of bowl predictions I've been reading put Wisky v Clemson in a bowl matchup. I would look forward to seeing Clemson get rolled by Wisky.
