2013 Preseason and regular polls

I agree B1G would be underdogs. I just don't see what Oregon has fundamentally changed to warrant thinking they could beat tOSU. The game would be almost the complete opposite of the last one, but this tOSU offense has scored EVERY SINGLE TIME it has needed to this year, and imo they still don't know exactly who they are. I know I'm a homer. That's what makes it fun for me. But when this offense puts it together, they will be ridiculous. I just hope it's this year and I hope the D snaps out of it too
Teams that are physical on both sides of the ball still give Oregon problems and that's why I've never bought into the hype. If our secondary wasn't so horrendous I think the Buckeyes would beat Oregon by 2TDs. We've got the lines to control the game like we did in 2010. I think UCLA gives the Ducks a scare while Stanford finishes them off.

Alabama still has to play LSU, @ AUB and SEC CG
Oregon still has to play UCLA, @ Stanford, a rivalry game and the PAC12 CG
FSU still has to play Miami, @UF and the ACC CG

OSU has the easiest path to go undefeated but will be left out if there are multiple undefeateds. I can live with that.

I can also live with the odds that those 3 teams won't win all those games.

The 1st BCS standings of 2013:

No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Florida State have the inside track to the national championship game after topping the season's first BCS standings.

The standings, released Sunday night, put Florida State ahead of No. 3 Oregon, one day after the Seminoles cruised to a 51-14 win at Clemson.

In both polls that are used in the BCS calculations, Oregon is second and Florida State third, but the standings' computer component gave the Seminoles the advantage.

No. 4 Ohio State and No. 5 Missouri round out a top 5 of undefeated teams.

Not sure what criteria there is for Florida State to be ranked ahead of Ohio State? Both teams have beaten two ranked teams, one of which for both parties has dropped out ( Florida and NW). Clemson was shown to be overranked (due to beatong Georgia). Everyone is just caught up with the hype from last nights game while the Buckeyes quietly beat a sound defensive team.

FSU hasn't played Florida yet. The other ranked team you are thinking about is Maryland.
