2010 tOSU Defensive Backs, or Secondary, Discussion

I've picked 2 other guys who didn't contribute in 2009 in the DLine and Linebacker thread and will do the same here.

Corey Brown will turn into a shut down corner. I don't know how he will squeeze in for PT but I think he will. Maybe Torrence will move to safety?

Someone a few days ago reported that Corey Brown is being moved to WR.

What about using Hines back at the Star and one of the young bucks like: Oliver, Wood or Barnett at the other S position. And using Moeller and Rolle as the LBs during obvious passing downs. That's a lot of speed on the field for us, don't know how realistic this scenario could be. But it sounds good in theory, any thoughts?

Then you have two brand new guys as the back line of your defense. I'm not sure that's an ideal scenario, particularly when you have a number of guys who could play the star, including Moeller.

If you have a chance to put both Hines and Moeller on the field at the same time, you absolutely have to do that.

Hines seems ideal to me as a SS, and Moeller at the Star.

Put one of the young ball hawks at FS, like O Johnson or Barnett.

One thing's for sure - we will be VERY athletic in the back seven.

By the end of next season, Torrence will be our highest rated CB.
