Sept. 19 Eastern Michigan
Sept. 26 Indiana
Oct. 3 at Michigan State
Oct. 10 at Iowa
Oct. 17 Delaware State
Oct. 24 Penn State
Oct. 31 at Illinois
Nov. 7 Purdue
Nov. 14 at Wisconsin
Nov. 21 Ohio State

WMU was 9-4 and had the best passing offense in the MAC last year. I'm not sure if their QB Hiller has another year but if he does scUM had better watch out. No joke. WMU beat Toledo by 10 last year. Just sayin.

EMU will be a battle of 3-9 teams.

I say 3-1OOC (if they get past WMU) and 2-6 in the B10 with wins over IU and Purdue. They get to stay home and play in Detroit for a Bowl if they can take care of WMU and steal another B10 game somewhere.

If they spit the bit on that WMU game, Katie bar the door. It will be open season on a certain hair plug recipiant.

That's a tough one. I usually pull for them, but find myself laughing if they lose.

That's fine, I guess you are in the minority. Judging by the price of tickets before that game last season, and the lack of buildup...........well, I'd say most would agree with me.

Furthermore, with that dipshit at the helm in AA, I not only dislike Michigan. I now despise Michigan. RichRod is an eye sore and a black mark on this rivalry.

Well they sucked ass at running the ball so I won't beat on the scUMers about that one. They also lose their top WR iirc but this is one of those deals where they sling it so much they'll be fine.

All busting scUM's balls aside, this is a dangerous spot for them. They will be worse on defense next year, especially early. They didn't exactly set the world on fire in terms of pass D this past year and this WMU team does nothing but throw and throw well. They did in fact beat Illinois and Toledo in back to back weeks last year which is something else that should give the scUMers pause. I know they are too institutionally arrogant to give WMU a chance but in all honesty I won't be shocked to see the home opening fiasco streak reach 3.

I'm not just saying this just because I hate scUM, whatever points Vegas is giving WMU in September, take them. Honestly scUM might not be anything more than a 3 point fav at home against WMU and if you switched uniforms and school names the visitors would probably be favored.

I know most Michigan fans are saying he's safe through 2010 or even 2011, but no bowl next year would have to make them seriously consider dumping DickRod right? Or have they all bought into the no talent (as in less than Toledo ) bullshit.

Conversely, the Buckeyes signed two from Michigan, tight end Reid Fragel and receiver James Jackson. Interestingly, Michigan did not offer either player, but Jackson had offers from Alabama, Florida, Miami and UCLA.

Uh, I'm pretty sure Jackson had an offer from Dickrod.

Personally fellas, I want to see Michigan become a power once again. It's a lot more fun to beat them when they are good. Was anyone really up for the game last year? Honestly, I was at the game last season.......I felt as if we were playing Miami, Oh. I was rooting for Michigan to make it a game. That program really sucks right now......I want to see them get better. I hope Dick Rod can deliver. It's fun to have a nemesis.

I want to see the Big Ten get back to prominence. I am sick to tears of hearing about how slow we are, and how we choke. Quite frankly, it's true. We cannot dispel the notion that the Big Ten pretty much has sucked against the major powers of the past few years. It's fun to make fun of Michigan, but I view them the way you would view a little brother. It's cool for you to pick on them, and tease them......but when others do, you get a bit irritated after a while.

I don't. Screw the Big Ten. If Ohio State goes 13-0, then we're national champs, regardless of the level of competition in conference. And the Buckeyes always help their cause by scheduling one big-time OOC opponent every year.

To wrap up my rant........I think it's healthy to root for Michigan. Let their fans get their swagger back.

the scUM fans I work with don't have any swagger. In fact when I told them if you combine the football and basketball records, the series between the schools is now tied, it deflated them even more

One other point about that, I would like them to redo the experiment Fermi did under the University of Chicago's stadium, only use the more advanced version that they tested in the desert, under the Pig House. Now that is a Stadium rebuilding effort I could get behind
