2009 TSUN News (football only discussion)

He actually graduated from scUM and is transferring to WMU. Apparently he turned out to be a better scholar than an athlete (i.e. one tackle in 3 seasons); however, I'm guessing that his degree won't be a B.S.E. in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences:

Ex-Michigan DT officially lands at WMU

Four months after he was one of three Michigan players granted a release from their scholarships, Richard Ash has found himself a new place to call home.

In a release, Western Michigan announced that the defensive tackle has officially been added to the football team’s roster.

As Ash graduated from Michigan this spring, he’ll be eligible to play immediately in 2014 for the Broncos.

Ash appeared in 13 games during his time in Ann Arbor, including five contests in 2013. He was credited with his first career tackle in the November loss to Ohio State last year.
