Well hell, I read that one completely wrong.

I thought a BPRT member had come across inside info that AA was finally going to be bombed as part of the stimulus plan.

Now I find out they were talking about scUM's recruiting style and not the immenent destruction of Ann Arbor.

Sonofabitch.

Another point is their chest thumping about the team records from The Game. If you take Coops pitiful record out (how I wish) and the first 20 years of the "rivalry" they'd have little to brag about.

Since Woody's arrival, we're 30-26-2 against scUM...fuck 'em.

EDIT: Taking out Cooper's clusterfuck of a tenure in The Game, Woody, Earle, and JT have gone 28-16-1 against Michigan.

They have 28 skill position players on scholarship. 4 come off the books this year, but they look to be loading up at QB, WR and are even targeting TEs next year. I'd expect 2 qbs, a few more slots/rbs, and maybe 1 TE.

You could just get Juice Williams. He blew up the Big House.

Is Sheridan still there or just not on scholarship? Sorry ahead of time if I missed his departure.

He's still here, just not on scholarship. I believe that scholarships are on a one year basis (with cause for renewal), and since we had like 8 open scholarships last year, we gave him one so he didnt have to pay for school that year.

FWIW, I understand scUM still has a couple available scholarships they could give him, but refuse to do so because he sucked so hard. I had no idea before this that not sucking hard was a prerequisite for a scholarship at TSUN.

Scout.com: Steve Threet transferring?

Steven Threet transfer rumors swirling...

While many UM fans grimace at the thought of him starting again, Tate Forcier is still a true freshman and still 180 pounds. If he goes down, who starts? Denard Robinson who doesn't arrive until fall camp? Justin "he won't be a QB here" Feagin? Nick Sheridan?

Would make sense. The kid just seemed like a poor fit for DickRod's system and he's likely gonna be stuck behind one of DR's recruits. At least if he transfers, he'd still get a year in a system more suitable to his talents.

But yeah, a 180-190 Frosh QB expected to endure the rigors of a D-1 schedule in that offense backed up by either another very green frosh or *gulp* Nick Sheridan again...yeesh.
