Cink made a great putt at 18 to get to -2, but he also had that 360+ degree job at 13 that allowed him to stay close.

I thought for sure Watson would make that 8 or 9 footer to win the Open but i played the game before and i could understand how he felt, but i wanted so badly for him mark a page in sports history again. We needed great stories like this in our society to perk up ourselves in these troubled time for just a little while anyway. But congrats to Cink he sure deserves it and Tom Watson can say he was almost there and oh so close.

Anyway, for those who follow golf - now you know why Tiger wins so many majors. Just look at what all the non-senior-tour guys did down the stretch. Even Cink only played "solid" the last 5 holes, not spectacular.
What an awesome tournament and golf course. Hope they don't wait another 15 years to play there again.
