I like participating in these things, and would do so here if allowed. Note up front that I'm a new member and also a Trojan -- I've mostly only posted in the OSU vs. USC game thread thus far, though I do lurk the boards a bit :)

That said if you guys want to sort of "protect" the poll for whatever reason I won't be offended.

I believe that LJB has already stated in this thread that he would like to see fans of other teams get involved.

Quite right, Muffler.

I'm not LJB, but I do know that when the idea was developed we (AKAK and I) specifically desired that the poll not be:

1. Ohio State
2. etc.

It's not intended to be a "homer" poll, TTK... unless it's full already, I can't see any reason why you wouldn't' be "allowed" to participate.

LJB- please remove my name from the list of participants. Due to some time constraints and other issues unlike last year I would not be able to give the BP poll the time needed to make my picks be worthwhile. On a side note, I did participate every week last year and it will it be interesting to see how many other people who have said that there are to participate this year saying in there for every week of the season.

Neither do 98% of the coaches but we still take their ballots seriously. :ohwell:
