I think Ohio State and USC are about equal with about the same number of questions needing to be answered and tOSU gets the slight edge because I'm a homer. :p Illinois has the makings of being a very good team this year. Very athletic and now more mature (mistakes cost them a lot last year). They get PSU at home which make that game, to me, even odds (at least at this point) and they will test the Buckeyes in Columbus, that should be a fun game. Sipping a little Domer kool-aid, but hey COULD be good this year. MSU is knocking on the door, perhaps could have knocked Texas Tech off and squeezed them in, but I'm not sure how they will replace JR.

The irish will save Charlie's fat ass and will contribute to the revolt that follows Michigan's loss in week 2. Once they walk through their first 4 games every other sports show will be about the "Amazing Irish, their strategic advantage and Lou Holtz will be the winner on American Idol repeatedly singing, "Cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame..." I will be puking somewhere... The Big 10 will get just two teams in a January game and one of those will be because of contractural agreements.

Looks great...maybe start a new thread each week for discussion so the poll is in post #1, or is it better to leave here and build?

EDIT: You forgot the "STILL receiving no votes" feature from last season...I think dUMb gets a carry-over

I'll start a new thread for week one (the poll after the first week of action). A lot of people had already posted their preseason ballots in this thread, so I figured that it would be best to post the preseason poll in here as well.
