Barring a Mizzou upset, the system is working as it appears the two champions from the two toughest conferences will end up in the NC game.

I'm just wondering whether last night's loss will bump Notre Dame out of the BCS and into a lesser bowl.

AP poll is also out and Texas has jumped Oklahoma in that poll.

This is going to be interesting.

I also love that the top ranked teams from the ACC and Big East are ranked behind the top teams from three non-BCS conferences.

I think ND has already locked up a trip to the Sugar Bowl. What a great coaching job by Jabba.

Perfect. Let the wars begin.

What we need is a playoff so teams like Oklahoma and Texas can decide it on the field.

This is how their conference settled it, not the BCS. The BCS was the fifth consideration in breaking the tie. How is this any worse than voting a winner into a title/bowl game?

That doesn't change the problem with the system that puts OU above the team that beat them.

I don't understand this sentence at all, that's precisely what they are doing.

This is a joke, right? If this is the system "working" so to speak, then I really need to lower my standards for all other systems.
