Wad,

Just noticed you don't have Christian's visit this weekend listed on the visit thread yet. Are there any others that will be in c-bus with him?

I'll add him...there may be some 2011 kids on unofficials but I doubt there will be anyone else on an official this weekend from the 2010 class.

Change Of Plans For Christian | Ohio State Buckeyes College Football Recruiting, OSU Big Ten Football, OSU Basketball - Bucknuts.com

Posted by Bill Kurelic on Nov 09, 2009 at 08:53 am

This past weekend defensive back Cullen Christian (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills) was scheduled to make an official visit to Pitt as the Panthers hosted Syracuse. However, the visit did not happen.

"I didn't go," Christian said. "They weren't having any official visits for some reason. So I'll just go over there for a practice."

Christian said he is still planning to make an official visit to Ohio State this weekend when the Buckeyes play Iowa.

"I'll really find out how much I like them (this weekend)," Christian said.

The 6-foot-1 and 185-pound Christian still plans to make an official visit to Michigan the weekend of Nov. 21 when the Buckeyes play the Wolverines, then announce his college choice on Nov. 24.

Michigan-OSU recruiting weekend filling up
By JOSH HELMHOLDT

There is one more weekend recruiting visit date on the calendar for Michigan football that centers around a game, and it will undoubtedly be the most star-studded visit weekend of the 2010 class thus far for the Wolverines.
...
Those prospects who have set their official visits for that weekend include three-star Hollywood (Fla.) Hills teammates Tony Grimes and Clarence Murphy, four-star linebacker Tony Jefferson of Chula Vista (Calif.) Eastlake, four-star cornerback Cullen Christian of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Penn Hills, three-star running back Cassius McDowell of Deerfield Beach, Fla., four-star safety Rashad Knight of Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity and four-star safety commitment Marvin Robinson of Eagle Lake (Fla.) Lake Region.

well, it's about time the coaches realize that his heart isn't here. good luck to christian, but i feel like we are more than fine in db area of needs. maybe it is also forthtelling about how the coaches feel about the recruitment of bryant and anderson.

That can't be a good sign!

If it's really 'OSU cancels visit' and not 'Christian cancels OSU visit', that's got to be a good sign for something else, right? Right? Anyone? Right?

Hopefully Joshua Shaw didn't call the coaches and pull a Tajh Boyd [Jus Sayin'].

They more than likely got good word back from another prospect...if you recall Christian was offered when things with LJ and Shaw weren't looking up. Shaw is still up in the air.

Confusing for sure...we have offers out to both Shaw and Christian...Shaw isn't coming here, so you think we would shift our focus to Christian. The only CB prospect on the board now is Joyner, which makes him a priority for sure. Anderson and Bryant are both likely safeties. The good news is I think out of Clarke, Barnett and Brown we are fine with taking one, though two couldn't have hurt.

I think Shaw was a guy they would've taken regardless of how many ships were available. They would have "made room for him" as people say. Christian, not so much. I think this has a lot more to do with how they feel about Floyd and/or Hankins. They may need Christian's scholarship to take those two guys who apparently are all about OSU right now.
