'08 WV OL Josh Jenkins (West Virginia Signee)

RRod is such a nice guy for giving Jenkins an excuse other than the fact he was going to OSU the whole time. WVU fans are in rare form I am sure...can't wait to see Josh in the AA game. It would be cool if he decided to surprise everyone and pick there.

CONGRATS on USA Today selection!

:oh: GO BUCKS!

Indeed. Great job Josh.

Hope you make the decision that's best for you. If it happens to be the decision that's best for "us" also, you'll find that opportunities will arise for you in the state of Ohio that will last you the rest of your life, and they have NOTHING to do with football.

Buckeye fans NEVER forget.

Once a Buckeye, Always a Buckeye.

We'd Love to share this with you, young man. Peace.

Josh says:
  • Recruiting is a business. Says RR let recruits know about his decision before his players (which I think really allowed Josh to see the snake that RR is).
  • OSU is #1, followed by FSU and WVU. (No Michigan)
  • Recruiting is fun because of the free trips, getting to meet coaches and players, etc.
  • Checks what people say about him on the internet. Uses slights as motivation to perform better on the field.
Overall, a pretty impressive young man with a pretty steady demeanor.

Wow. I assume some of you have spent time looking at what WVU boardgoers have been saying about Josh over the lst sevral months.

At times, it got me so angry I wanted to reply, but using logic on flamers rarely equates to positive results.

They have said AWFUL things about him. I had a hard time believing what they were saying about one of their own.

I don't blame him one bit for de-committing.

Hope he comes here where he will be appreciated for his contribution, and not called a "lazy primadonna".

What a joke some of their boards are. These guys are only 18 yr old kids.

Ripping on kids doesn't make you a bigger man.

A line with Josh Jenkins along with Brewster, Adams and Shugarts is gonna be downright unfair! Not to mention Connor Smith! It's like an NFL calibre line for the next 3-4 years. My mom could play QB with a line like that and win the Heisman!
