'06 FL S/WR Jamar Hornsby (official thread)

HH, where are you getting your information from? I have never heard he has grade problems. He is going to be graduating early. I am not saying you are a liar at all, but I think you may of gotten some bad information or jumped the gun on this. Southern Cal, Michigan, Georgia Tech and Florida have all offered him a scholarship and trying to get him to visit. All 4 of those schools are really good. USC, Tech and Michigan are extremely good schools.

They may of had kids who failed to qualify, but they are still top schools. I don't think any OSU fan would argue that Georgia Tech, Southern Cal and Michigan are all better Universities right now. Heck, I think UF has a very strong academic field but I will admit that those 3 are better. If Tech, Michigan and USC think his grades are good enough to offer and come in for a visit, then his grades are likely good. I don't know HH from Adam, so I can't comment on whether or not he knows his stuff. The only thing I can say is that this is the first time I have heard that Hornsby has grade problems. OSU let others visit in the past who had questions in terms of their grades.

If we have offered him at Tech, which we have his GPA has to be very close to a 2.5 if nit better, or he couldn't get a offer, see Marcus Ball. So I think Jamar will qualify

Just a reminder that offers are not only contingent on GPA but also test scores as well....at least for tOSU.

From BSB...Jamar plans to definitely reschedule his OSU offical. He watched the game on TV. He plans to also visit Michigan and USC and possibly Auburn, Florida, or Georgia. UF still leads.

Not that I thought we had a real shot at Jamar, but it just makes me wonder why he would say on the 12th that he was "definitely" going to reschedule his OSU visit and then two days later he has decided on his college choice and OSU isn't one of the final five.
