If you build it, they will come...
No matter what the reason, if OSU can get Hornsby to the 'Shoe in any way, shape, or form, then I would put the Buckeyes down as a possibility. It may be a long shot, but like Lloyd Christmas said, "..so you're saying there's a chance?" If he shows up for the Texas game, then imagine how many text messages Urban Meyer will send him. "Did you see how bad we blew up LA Tech today? That could be you next year!!" JT wouldn't have to use text messages at that point, rather, speak to him in person, which goes a long way. I would love to see a huge gathering of Hornsby, Wallace, Gibson, Brown, Rose, Small, Thomas, Walton, Schwartz, Moeller, Reuland (?), Tebow (?)...along with the guys we have already solidified. Wells, Homan, Smith, Coleman, Ballard, Chichester, Henton...Maybe each of these guys would look around themselves, and say, why not join this group? These are all recruits that we have a decent-to-strong-to-unbeatable chance at landing. I know it's like a pipe-dream, but a Buckeye fan can dream, right? Can you imagine what that class would look like? Can you imagine what the guru's would say? Bottom line I guess, is that I wouldn't visit OSU unless I was interested. If I have 5 official visits, I'm gonna think along the lines of vacation, and especially if I already knew where I was gonna play. Columbus, Ohio, is not really a place to go for free, just for shits and giggles. I realize OSU has an outside shot at JH, BUT things can change, as I know they did for me when I was 18. We have to outshine the homestate Gators, and the "I'm from Georgia" Bulldogs, but honestly, if Jamar Hornsby would give us a chance, and visit OSU on September the 10th (the day after my B-day), then I really think he would like what he sees. Safety? WR? You name it, Jamar. Go Bucks
