    Darrell Hazell (official thread)

Darrell Hazell is now one of three finalists for the Kent State head coach job. Good for him, and I hope he gets it. He would certainly deserve it. KSU's looking at nation's top programs for new football coach

    LB Etienne Sabino (official thread)

Just wanted to resurrect this thread and say a big "Thank you" to Etienne! Here's a guy who has been on the bench for a while (which could be a source of frustration for most) but goes out and recruits one of the key pieces in our recruiting class. From the reports I have read, Etienne made...

LB Ryan Shazier (All B1G, All-American, 2017 Pro Bowl)

Welcome to the family Ryan! Great kid......very well spoken. Can't wait to see him on the field. On another note, I think landing Ryan will change the shape of our recruiting class completely. I can't wait to see what unfolds in the next couple months. This could be a class for the ages! Heck I...

RB Warren Ball (transfer to Akron)

That wouldn't be a surprise at all if he has privately verbaled to the Buckeyes. What leapt out at me was the fact that he is also a 4.0 GPA student. Wow! This kid has it all and I am very excited at the prospect of seeing him in S&G. Our depth chart at RB is off the charts for the coming years.

LB Joshua Perry (National Champion, BTN CFB Analyst)

No doubt, given the numbers are very tight for 2012. Should be somewhere around 13-14 schollies total. Regardless, Josh seems like a prospect we simply cannot miss out on. He is gonna be part of a small but elite bunch of recruits for 2012.

Group G last games (Fri 10 am, ESPN/2)

Yes. That rule of playing the last qualifying games of the group stages simultaneously was started after a shocking incident in the 1982 world cup tournament, when what was then West Germany and Austria conspired to play out a 1-0 win for West Germany (two traditional rivals) to guarantee both...

DE Keith Wells (Columbus State; transfer to Ohio Dominican)

You may be right. I am just hoping that the reason, whatever it may be, is leading him down the right path.

DE Keith Wells (Columbus State; transfer to Ohio Dominican)

That is contrary to what I heard, which is that he had a very good Spring, and was primed to make an impact this year. Academically too, he seems to be fine. My guess is that he didn't land the starting job, and got more than a little disappointed. Either ways, I was really excited when we...
